You can find inspiration in the simplest of things
The sound of the ball as it hits the rounder’s bat
Petals cheeky grin from under her big flowery hat
The swirls of steam from my morning cup of tea
The cuddles I get from Buds as he nestles tightly on me
The pride that brims when I watch the school plays
The balmy summer nights that lead into long hazy days
The brave way Daisy tackles a one handed cartwheel
A candle lit table with my husband and a delicious meal
A sunny sports day and excited screams
The elated faces of the winning teams
The first fall of snow lying softly on the ground
A crackling fire a most relaxing sound
My favourite bar of chocolate at the end of the night
Children tucked up in bed no need to share a bite!
The girl’s school uniforms all ironed and straight
Dancing the night away with all my best mates
Love laughter and the happiness my family bring
You see you can find inspiration from almost everything
Jools Oliver is a woman that I personally admire for her generosity, strength and character. She is a mum to four children, wife to Jamie and an inspiration to many women all around the world. I feel very honoured to have had Jools contribute to my blog (xx).
In her spare time (whatever that is?????) Jools is an author having published a wonderful book for all mums alike called ‘Minus nine to one’ and a series of childrens books ‘The Adventures of Dotty and Bluebell’.
Her new ‘baby’, a children’s clothing range called ‘Little Bird’ will be available mid August from Mothercare stores and online.
